Preston Parson is a 2024 SS/2B with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Gorman, TX who attends Gorman. Smaller frame with a leaner build. Ran a 7.40 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, clean defender with quick feet and balanced on the dirt, ranges well to both sides and work through the ball with good intent, soft hands and gets it out on time, up to 78 across and makes it play well. Right-handed hitter, wide base and high hand set, struggled with some timing but showed ease to the swing, uphill path and able to produce some lift, will greatly improve results as he adds strength physically.
