Chase Thornton is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 5-9 130 lb. frame from Hockessin, DE who attends . Recorded a 7.46 second sixty yard dash time. Long and lanky frame with a ton of room to fill and plenty of physical development remaining. Primary right-handed pitcher with a controlled operation, stays inline well with the plate and has a short arm circle. Generates some swing and miss when challenging up in the zone, showed slurvy-type curveball with 11-5 shape and vertical break, looks best and is most effective when thrown at/below the knees. Showed a nice move to pickoff a runner at first base. Secondary outfielder with an aggressive approach, fields it off the side of his body and utilizes an exaggerated crow hop. Tends to crow hop up into the air rather than hopping forward to gain more ground and carry his momentum. Has long strides and a long arm action, made accurate throws. Right-handed hitter with a wide stance and a high hand and back elbow set. Tends to drift over the front side, swings with intent and has a short path to the ball. Has a solid mechanical base with present barrel awareness, found steady barrels to the pull side during his round.
