Jackson Schanuel is a 2025 SS/RHP/1B with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Norman, OK who attends Newcastle. Schanuel works from a strong mature build for his age with strength present throughout. From 1B, he showcased a full arm action with smooth transitions and a clean fielding funnel, ultimately topping out at 78 mph across the diamond. On the mound, he effectively maintained balance over the rubber with a simple operation and released from an over the top slot up to 84 mph. Schanuel used his physicality well to get down the mound, mixing a 12-6 shaped breaker for both called strikes and swing and miss. Offensively, the righty started from a wider even base with a high compact hand set generating solid impact to the pull side of the field. He flashed strength in the hands and covered the zone well, posting an exit velo of 87 mph. Ran a 7.04 sixty yard dash. Good student. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
