Braden Roberts is a 2025 OF/RHP, SS with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Wichita, KS who attends Trinity Academy. A lean frame with a compact build, showing room to keep adding strength. Ran a 7.07 60-yard dash. A primary outfielder who had a good first step, developing some momentum as he works to it, carrying the momentum through a clean transfer into his throw. Showed quality arm speed, with good throws and accurate throws at 80 mph. Worked out as an infielder, with direct footwork to the ball, quick--moving feet and agile movements laterally. Gets to a good fielding position with soft hands. Throws over-the-top with a quick transfer and throws on target at 78 mph. A right-handed hitter with a wide base and a compact setup. He starts with even feet and closes off the front foot with a hovering leg lift. He was able to show some feel for the barrel, getting a level path through the zone with some hand speed. He created line-drive contact throughout his round of BP. Also took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher. Showed a repeatable delivery with a shorter arm action. He starts square to the plate with a side-step to start his delivery. Lifts the leg even to the chest and gets some push and drive in his backside as he moves down the mound. His fastball is pretty straight with some occasional cutting action. He also spun a 12-6 shaped breaking ball with good depth and a downer break. Was able to keep the opposition off-balance with that mix. He showed a changeup as well with some depth to it.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
