Aksel Orenyak is a 2026 RHP/1B/3B with a 5-11 215 lb. frame from Carlsbad, CA who attends Carlsbad. Large frame. Ran the 60 yard dash in 8.32 seconds. Primary right handed pitcher, throws from a three quarter arm slot with a side step, belt high leg lift with a hip twist. The fastball sat 68-73 mph with arm side run. Threw a lot of strikes and commanded well to both sides of the plate. Mixed in a slider with slight break that sat 66 mph. Also worked out in the infield, showed the ability to make the plays but is still developing infield actions. Was clocked up to 72 mph on throws across the diamond. At the plate, hits from a balanced even base with a toe tap trigger, displayed a flat bat path that goes in and out of the zone quickly with a pull side approach. Great student. Was named to the 13U/14U California Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
