Max Collins is a 2024 RHP/SS/OF with a 6-4 160 lb. frame from Carlsbad, CA who attends San Marcos. Tall and slender young build with lots of time and room to get stronger. Well balanced high hand delivery with a quick arm coming through. Fastball topped out at 83 mph, gets some arm side running action at times, did a good job of throwing his fastball fort strikes. Slurve type curveball up to 67 mph that flashed some depth, also threw a low 70's change up with some fading action. Projectable young arm that is going to keep improving. 7.37 runner in the sixty, plays the outfield when not on the mound. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall upright stance with a late hand drop load, uphill swing plane, best when he stays behind the ball and works the middle of the field. Excellent student. Named to the Sunshine West Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
