Thomas Crupi is a 2025 SS/IF with a 5-7 120 lb. frame from Gilbert, AZ who attends American Leadership Academy Gilbert North. Young build showed feel for his present tools to build on, he posted a 7.56 in the 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, feet are active with short strides that move fine side to side. The glove works to all angles, fundamental actions are there and lower half gets involved some. Slight stiffness in the extended arm action, has time to develop a fluid infield arm as he adds strength. Right-handed hitter, open to even stance and engages slight separation, he has some strength in the hands with good balance and bat-to-ball skills. The bat speed is there and shows barrel control, showed off a solid contact tool spraying line-drives to all fields. He works short to ball, barrel path is level but makes for a playable swing. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
