2022 National Academic Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Maxwell Hunt is a 2025 RHP/1B, OF with a 6-5 190 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Tampa Jesuit. Maxwell is a long, lean athlete with a frame that is ready to be filled out. Hunt showed good arm strength from both the field and from the mound. His fastball topped out at 81-mph while sitting in the upper 70's. Maxwell shows good ability to pitch to both sides of the plate, and has a good curveball to keep hitters off balance. With more arm speed and strength he will be dangerous. Hunt has an even base and a simple approach to hitting, Maxwell shows good contact ability with the bat. Defensively, Maxwell's movements are smooth and he gets through the ball well. Maxwell was named to the 2022 National Academic Showcase Top Team List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
