Ava Adamson is a 5'5, class of 2025 C/MIF from Creston, IA who attends Creston HS. Ava is a fundamentally sound, up and coming player who can play more than one position. She has a emerging ability to also swing the bat. She ran a commendable 3.44 20-yard dash which included a 1.27 5-yard split. A primary catcher, Ava shows an easy set up that includes a low profile at the ready. She has a smooth receiving style and her soft hands allow her to frame pitches well. She throws from her knees and her transition is consistent. Her 50-mph throws are firm and her 2.15 pop time is plus average for her age group. at the plate, this RHH starts with a wider, slightly closed stance. She has some steepness to her plane and has some nice looseness to her operation. When timing is on, she shows sound pull side contact. Ava has a sound grasp on the basic fundamentals of the sport. Her emerging skill level says that her future, With continued attention to detail and a work ethic that won't be compromised, Ava will certainly attain her goals in the game. There is a lot of upside potential present and her future appears very bright!
