Jada Daye is a 5'4, class of 2026 C/MIF from West Des Moines, IA who attends Waukee HS. Jada is an up and coming, noticeably talented athlete, who, with continued attention to detail and added strength and agility, has a chance to be a top collegiate prospect as her career evolves. Her pure speed was impressive as she posted a 3.33 20-yard dash time; an advanced time for her age group. She also had a 1.07 5-yard burst timing which was one of the top in the entries event. A primary catcher, Jada has an advanced feel for the position. She has an easy set up and presents a low profile at the ready. She has an comfortable receiving style that highlights her soft hands. She throws from her knees and her style plays. Her 54-mph throws are firm and show carry. Her 2.21 pop time is commendable. Jada has a solid fundamental base behind the plate and one that should allow her to grow into an elite receiver before her HS days are over. Jada brings that same easy style to her infield defense. She is quick to position. Her smooth and soft hands play really well on the dirt. She transitions routinely and her 57-mph throws are firm, hold their plane, and are routinely accurate. Solid effort on the IF. At the plate, this twitchy RHH is an advanced bunter and with her speed, the short game should be a big part of her arsenal. She starts with an open stance and is easy to close. Her trigger is consistent. She is short, quick, and direct to contact. She is a line driver who understands that speed is a big part of her game. Top of the order potential. Solid offensive approach. Jada has a big and bright future in the game. Her disposition and positive body language paint the picture that the sport is very important to her. Unlimited ceiling. Great things lie ahead for this gifted young player!

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
