Lucas Shelly is a 2027 C/1B/3B with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Clearwater, FL who attends Calvary Christian HS. Recorded an 8.52 second 60-yard dash time. Physicality to the frame with advanced strength. Primary catcher with low transfers and a higher slot. Comes out of the hand well with good accuracy. Throws were on the correct side of the bag and posted a best recorded pop time of 2.16 seconds. Arm strength played at secondary position of first base. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a high leg lift and good rhythm to the operation. Slight crossfire to the landing and the fastball showed sink and arm side run. Three-quarters slot and the changeup is tunneled off the fastball well. Flashed a breaking ball to complete the three pitch mix. Right-handed hitter with a hanging leg lift trigger, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Turns the barrel over to the pull side and has a short path to contact. Line drive oriented operation with some strength and barrel feel.
