Erik Koertner is a 2023 2B/MIF with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Lubbock, TX who attends Frenship. Smaller frame with a lean and athletic build. Ran a 7.43 second 60-yard dash. Primary second baseman, plays back on the ball a bit, shorter strides to the ball and limited range at present, more deliberate actions but gets glove there on time and releases from a higher slot with developing arms strength. Righthanded hitter, short and hands-oriented swing, gets uphill through the zone and will pull off it early at times, limited shift in, gets best impact when he's level through the zone and stays through the baseball to the middle. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
