2023 Pittsburgh Indoor Showcase (Sunday)
Jackson Walsh is a 2025 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Pittsburgh, PA who attends North Allegheny. Medium athletic build with good present strength. Has a simple delivery on the mound with good hip turn and nice extension down the mound, front side can be early opening at times, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side running life. Did a good job mixing his pitches, curveball has good spin and some 1-7 depth, killed the spin on a straight change up effectively. Threw strikes with all three pitches. 7.43 runner in the sixty. Showed his arm strength well in the outfield in drills. Left handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance, has solid swing mechanics with a full and fluid path through the ball, has some lift when he's out front and pulling the ball. Should continue to improve in all areas as he gets more repetitions. Very good student. Named to the Pittsburgh Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
