CJ Brewer is a 2023 2B/3B, SS, MIF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Puyallup, WA who attends Gov John Rogers. Lean, long frame able to flash some athletic actions and still space to grow into the frame. Controlled the feet and body well during defensive workouts seeing him funnel the ball well to the middle and quick exchange for accurate throws. Arm strength will need to improve for his ability to play all infield positions but played well during the games. Starts from an even base with higher hands showing confidence in his stance and swing flashing quick hands as the swing produced easy rhythm through contact. Worked to stay on top of the ball and let the barrel stay through the zone well. Followed up a solid batting practice with strong games picking up big hits. Very good student and upside available. Names to the Northwest Prospect Showcase Top Prospects List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
