Max Thigpen is a 2027 MIF/RHP with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Denham Springs, LA who attends Denham Springs. Slender young athletic build with lots of growing ahead of him. 7.42 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, moves well from side to side and has some athleticism and body control, has a clean glove to hand exchange and gets rid of the ball well, developing arm strength with accurate throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a turned in upper body start, gets out to his front side early and swings aggressively, repeated his timing well, gets the ball in the air to the pull side, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength and physical maturity. Took a turn on the mound, has full free flowing delivery with a loose 3/4's arm slot. Threw mostly fastballs and topped out at 72 mph, did a good job throwing strikes and challenging hitters. Also threw an occasional sweeping curveball that will further develop. Good athlete who should keep improving in all areas.

Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
