Tanner Herdman is a 2027 C/2B, 3B, MIF, IF, UT with a 5-10 140 lb. build from Silverdale, WA who attends Central Kitsap. Features a medium frame with some lean athleticism that has room to add size/strength. Ran a 7.58 60-yd dash. Behind the plate, he uses a knee down set up during throwdowns. Showed avg. quickness out the crouch but gains solid ground while working in line. Exchange was compact where he works to a shorter arm action with avg. strength. Collected a caught stealing during gameplay. Exhibited solid framing and receiving skills as well. At the plate, he sits in a balanced stance where he uses a smaller negative move and a simple forward stride which allows for easy balance. Hands drop into launch and get there early where they then deliver the barrel on a direct path where he stays inside the baseball well. Pounded balls into the right center gap throughout his round with ease. Swing translated in-game with hits to all parts of the yard showing an ability to use the whole field. Named to Top Prospects List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
