2022 Sunshine South Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Daniel Elizondo is a 2023 LHP/1B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Seguin, TX who attends Nixon-Smiley. Medium frame with a lean build and room to fill. Ran a 7.88 second 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, simple delivery with longer actions, long arm action through a three-quarters slot, creates some angle and worked in the zone, showed softer feel to spin but enough shape to project as he gets stronger. Also worked out at first base and in the outfield, slower actions to the ball, short strides and gets rid of it quick with developing arm strength. Righthanded hitter, short hands-oriented swing, works level through the zone and produced some contact the other way with an inside-out path.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
