Nathan Hoerst is a 2023 SS/C, OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Harrison, OH who attends St. Xavier High School. Medium frame with athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.46 seconds. Hits from slightly open stance with upright posture, barrel wag into load, stiffer front side through lift and stride, has strength pull-side when square. Primary infielder, has feel for hand actions in any direction, longer windup and release, clocked up to 77 mph on throws. Sets low behind the plate with long stride out, gains ground, hitchy release, popped as low as 2.19 seconds. Threw 78 mph from the outfield. Very good student.
