Kal-El Holguin is a 2024 RHP/1B, 3B, OF with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Montrose, CA who attends St. Francis. Physical athletic frame. Ran a 7.82 60-yard dash. Primary Right-handed pitcher with a three pitch mix out of a high three-quarter slot. Fundamental sound delivery with controllable movements and maintained balance to keep everything in sync. Drop and drive mechanics with a low 80's fastball he gets downhill with, and feel for spin on both the slider and curve. Was able to get miss bats and keep hitters off balance throughout his outing on the mound. Also worked out in the infield where he showed corner infield type footwork, the ability to make the routine play and solid average arm strength across the diamond. Right handed hitter hit from a slightly open stance, drops hands, takes an uphill bat path with a strength based swing. Primary lift and pull approach with some present ability to drive the baseball. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
