Carson Lockman is a 2026 1B/RHP, C, 3B with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Lake Havasu City, AZ who attends Lake Havasu. He ran a 8.04 second sixty. A primary first baseman with a larger build. At first base he fields the ball deep with late glove presentation and firm hands showing developing feel for the footwork on the feeds to second base with young arm strength. On the infield the glove works high to low waiting back on the ball before gaining ground into the throw with a shuffle. On the mound he starts with a side step into a belt high leg lift keeping the hands tight to the body with a clean hand break into a medium arm action up to an over the top arm slot landing on a soft front side and running down the hill. The fastball sat 71-75 mph with room to project more velocity going forward, showed two off speed with a loose breaking ball in the mid 60's that will get better as he refines it and a changeup with occasional fading action at 67-68 mph. Right-handed hitter, uses a simple load with slight hand hitch using the opposite field at his best with young bat speed as the barrel stays mostly level through the hitting zone. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
