Luke Knape is a 2023 OF/MIF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Greensboro, NC who attends Southeast Guilford. Long and lean frame with good projection. Ran a 7.03 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, plays back on the ball a bit but clean lines working to it, fields it cleanly off the glove side and carries momentum with good accuracy on throws clocked up to 80 mph. Righthanded hitter, sets up tall and loads on the back side well, swings hard with good intent and generates great bat speed, handles the barrel through impact well and showed both quickness to the hands and some pull side juice with ability to create backspin and carry. Great student. Named to 2021 Atlantic Coast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
