Yordany Herrera is a 2027 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Clifton, NJ who attends Passaic Co Tech. Large, athletic frame with a lean build and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.41 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves well and attacks the baseball, high energy actions, hands play at the ball and feet stay active throughout actions; very quick transfer, lower slot with whip to arm, solid arm strength and carry across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, begins with a narrow and quiet stance, utilizes a bigger leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Stays inside the baseball well and generates solid bat speed through the zone. Loud contact off the barrel with carry to the pull side and middle parts of the field, easy stroke with natural lift through the point of contact. Named to the 13u/14u Mid-Atlantic Top Prospect List.
