Kosta Filipovic is a 2026 RHP/1B with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Palo Verde. It’s a tall and physical frame that stands out for his class. On the mound, it's a simple operation that he repeats well. Side steps into a belt high knee lift that then works straight down the mound for a more tall/fall type delivery. Arm shoots out the back working with some length until coming up to a H ¾ slot. The FB worked up to 79 sitting 74-78 controlling it to the armside. Mixed in a rolling mid 60s curveball that he showed feel for to flip in for strikes. Defensively, he worked out at 1st showing fundamental glove/feet actions where he worked through the baseball and got off accurate DP feeds. At the plate, he sat in a narrow stance with a bigger leg lift trigger with a smaller take back of hands and slight barrel wrap. Hands/barrel work direct to the baseball on a more downhill path that flashed some above avg. bat speed. Inconsistent round of BP but found several quality line drive barrels to the middle of the field. 7.22 60 yd.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
