Richie Ferreira is a 2025 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Oak Ridge, TN who attends Oak Ridge. Medium build with some present strength for his age. Left handed hitter, hits from a narrow start with a big stride into contact, tends to leave his hands behind his body in his shift, inside swing path, best when he's getting the barrel out front and turning on the ball. 7.65 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, works behind and through the ball with good fundamental actions and a quick exchange and release, developing arm strength and makes accurate throws due to his fundamental work before throwing. Also played some first base. Took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch with a basic leg lift delivery, compact arm circle to a 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 71 mph, got cutting action on virtually every fastball coming across the ball. Also threw a soft slider.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
