Carson Powell is a 2026 C/RHP/3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Sanderson, FL who attends Baker County Senior. Strong young build. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a rock back load, loads his hands tight, has quickness and strength in his hands and gets nice jump when he's timed up, projects well as a hitter with his strength. 7.49 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up high behind the plate, rotational thrower with a low arm slot, lots of hip turn in his defensive actions, young footwork. Also worked out in the infield. Took a turn on the mound, works from a high 3/4's arm slot with a deep on line arm action in back, simple delivery mechanics. Fastball worked in the upper 60's with some arm side running life, topped out at 70 mph. Also threw a soft 11/5 curveball and a change up with some cut to it. Threw strikes and competed well. Bat is his tool.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
