Lukas McLeroy is a 2025 LHP/1B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Newberg, OR who attends Lakeridge. Features a medium build with some strength present. Primary left-handed pitcher. Throws exclusively out of the stretch. Utilizes tall and fall mechanics into a short stride down the mound. Throws from a high 3/4 slot with short arm action. Has quality arm speed present. Fastball sat 80-84 mph with armside run. Looks to attack hitters with the offering. Can generate weak ground balls often. Curveball at 67-69 mph (2485 rpm) with sharp, downward action. Late bite can generate whiffs often. Will throw the offering early in counts. Flashed a changeup at 74-77 mph as well. Left-handed hitter. Utilizes a slightly open stance into a hanging leg kick timing mechanism. Swings on a direct path with extension out front. Approach is geared toward the pullsid. Still developing consistent barrel feel. Ran a 7.85 60-yard dash. Excellent student.
