Lane Poole is a 2026 3B/RHP/MIF with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Asheboro, NC who attends Southwestern Randolph. Slender young build with lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight bent knee stance with a short stride into contact, has a short high contact swing with middle of the field contact, stays under control and doesn't over swing, bat speed will continue to improve as he gets stronger. 7.87 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, step by step actions to the ball, tends to get his glove down late, compact arm action with a rotational throwing motion, more of second base arm strength at this point. Took a turn on the mound, works from a slow paced tall delivery, lands open with his front side, arm tends to be late coming through. Fastball topped out at 73 mph, also threw a big and slow curveball that he landed well for strikes. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
