PJ Hamel is a 2025 C/RHP, 1B, OF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Sussex, WI who attends Arrowhead. Recorded a 7.54 second sixty-yard dash. Long and lean frame that is highly projectable. Primary catcher sits behind the plate with a good receiving base and a low slot while showing a quick release as he throws 74 mph with a pop time of 2.10. Hamel took fly balls fielding the ball out front with clean glove actions into a quick release and good extension throwing 81 mph. Right-handed hitter steps to the plate with a crouched and hunched front side swinging with a double toe tap as he brings the barrel through the zone with an even swing. Hamel works the ball primarily to pull side, showing good bat speed as he is developing barrel control. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
