2021 Sunshine Midwest Showcase
Elliot Abnos is a 2022 SS/RHP/3B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Kansas City, MO who attends Lincoln College Prep. Projectable, lean build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.37 seconds. Primary SS whose throws reached up to 80 mph across the infield. Quick twitch athlete who has a quick and efficient first step. Hands showed softness and synced up nicely with his feet when approaching grounders. At the plate, he's a switch hitter who works out of a slightly open stance from both sides of the dish. Showed plenty of loft in the bat path and some impressive bat speed. On the mound, he works out of the stretch and throws out of a H 3/4 arm slot. His FB touched 81 mph and had some solid carry through the zone. The SL at 70 mph showed late tilt and he flashed the ability to throw the offering for a strike. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
