Mason Mohn is a 2023 C with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Endwell, NY who attends Maine-Endwell Senior. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present physical strength proportioned throughout. Ran a 7.65 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, lower set up behind the plate and will start on a knee, receives the ball out front, longer transfer, can continue to refine and implement additional lower half in gaining ground towards second base. Left-handed hitter, begins with a wide and slightly open stance with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; weight begins on backside, can utilizes additional weight shift. Stays shorter to the ball with hands, upper body dominant swing, works on a linear to downward swing path, shows some strength off of the barrel when squared up. Good student.
