Eddie Martinez is a 2022 C/ with a 5-9 200 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Muchin College Prep. Medium frame with a stocky type build. Ran a 7.97 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher, sitting up in the stance a bit as he receives the baseball out front. Hands sink into transfer and release before throwing uphill. Was accurate around the bag as he recorded a pop time of 2.51 seconds. Right-Handed Hitter, even base before working into a high leg lift to stride. Hands get higher into separation before taking an uphill cut. Looks to lift to the center of the field. Found a few loud barrels during his batting practice round. Good Student.
