Ty Mabrey is a 2027 1B/RHP/3B with a 5-10 128 lb. frame from Spanish Fort, AL who attends Ums-Wright Prep. Had a compact build in an extra-large frame. Length showing throughout a projectable build. Ran an 8.26 60-yard dash. Worked out as an infielder, fielding things up the middle with two-hands. Showed the pocket early and made the plays. Throws got to first in the air and were accurate. As a first baseman, similar actions as the infield. Smooth arm action on throws, was accurate as well from first. Worked out as an outfielder with clean glove work. Fielded off the front foot with a quicker arm action through release. A right-handed hitter with hands set high and a high back elbow. Has a big weight shift forward with long limbs and some strength behind it. Picked up 2 hits, including a firm single laced into left field. A right-handed pitcher who used a side-step into a leg lift up above the belt. Had an on-line arm swing with a high three-quarters arm slot. Moves down the mound on time. Fastall was in the low-70s with a 1,925 RPMs. Also showed a breaking ball in the low-60s with 11-5 shape. Flashed a changeup as well. Pretty quick arm with projectable actions on the bump. Punched out 2 opposing hitters over 2.0 innings pitched without allowing a hit.
