Tannen Buss is a 2023 C/ with a 5-11 200 lb. frame from Olathe, KS who attends Olathe North. Medium build. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.77 seconds. A primary catcher, he starts with a square setup and throws with a compact arm circle. Showed a quick transfer and release and his best pop time was recorded at 2.01 seconds as well as 71 mph on the radar gun. On the offensive side of the baseball he hits out of a slightly open stance with a high hands setup. Showed a middle of the field approach with slight loft in the bat path. Aggressive intent in his strokes and did a nice job of getting his lower half involved throughout the swing. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
