2022 Northeast Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Jake Childs is a 2023 OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Wall, NJ who attends Wall. Recorded a 5.18 second forty-yard dash time. Medium, slender frame with plenty of room and time to add strength. Primary outfielder with anticipatory actions into the fielding process, fielding slightly off to the side and exhibits a clean gather into transition. Carries some momentum into his throws, shuffling into a three-quarters arm slot. Recorded accurate throws up to 75 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a narrow, slightly open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and big leg lift trigger. Incorporates rotational lower half movements to get swing going, while getting on plane early out to contact. Line drive swing path with developing bat-to-ball skills, uses the whole field effectively and will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
