Jonah Magdich is a 2025 2B/RHP with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Garfield, AR who attends Homeschool. Recorded a 7.56 second sixty yard dash time. Smaller frame with a slender build and plenty of room to fill. Primary second baseman who gets himself into good fielding positions. Stiffer movements with developing arm strength. Also threw an inning on the mound. Right-handed pitcher works from a belt-high leg kick with a shorter stride down the mound. Shorter arm action and a three- quarter arm action. Minimal effort at release. The fastball (1579 RPM) was mid-to-upper 60s and topped out at 68 with some sinking arm action. The curveball (1486 RPM) with 12-6 shape and some horizontal bite. Showed a willingness to double up on the curveball and can throw it for strikes and could pitch backwards to some extent. Mixed locations with the fastball and working in on right-handed hitters and worked the outer half to left-handed hitters. Got weak contact early in counts. Showed sequencing working the outer half the whole at-bat before freezing hitter on a fastball on the inner third. Right-handed hitter, starts from an even base with a square stance, utilizes a hover strike timing. Some feel for the barrel. Keeps the weight back and shows a gap-to-gap approach that looks to lift. Crushed one into the left field corner and hit the fence on the bounce during game action.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
