Colin Dhaliwal is a 2023 LHP/OF with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Hillsborough, CA who attends Menlo. Showed good speed with a 7.03 second sixty. Primary Left-handed pitcher with a smaller frame. worked from the full wind up with tall and fall actions in the lower half with more drive to tap into in the lower half as he lands slightly open. Does a nice job hiding the ball through the back to a high three-quarters arm slot with the fastball sitting 74-80 mph with occasional arm side run finding the zone often in the early going. Curveball showed loopier actions in the low 60's with room to improve with more intent out of the hand. Does a nice job getting rod of the ball with a quicker release in the outfield as the arm staying on a short track through the back with good extension out front keeping the throws low to the bases. Left-handed hitter, starts with a narrow set and slightly open stance using a small leg lift to get back to even. worked mostly to the pull side with a direct swing path showing room for more power to come with better connection in the lower half. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
