Christian Moser is a 2023 C/RHP, IF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Liberty. Features a medium build with strength present. Ran a 7.39 60-yard dash. Worked out on the infield and at catcher. Will make the routine play on the infield. Smooth hands worked through hops well. Profiles well for a corner spot. Showed a strong arm across the diamond using a clean arm action. Threw 76 mph during workouts. Used a side saddle setup behind the plate. SHowcased aggressive actions with some quickness out of the crouch. Gains a fair amount of ground. Still developing consistent carry on throws. Recorded a 2.04 second pop time. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a wide base setup with a simple load. Showcased a clean stroke on a slightly lofted path. Stays balanced throughout swings. Approach allows the entire field to be used well. Strong frame allows balls to be driven well when barreled up. Right-handed pitcher. Utilizes a semi-windup delivery into drop and drive mechanics. Gets into the lower half well and stays athletic down the mound. Throws with intent. Has some arm speed present within shorter arm action. The fastball sat 74-76 mph with slight armside run. Creates a good downhill plane on the offering. Paired it with a changeup at 68-72 mph. Maintains arm speed well on the offering. Also showed a curveball at 62-65 mph with short, slurve action. Flashed ability to create bite and miss bats when spun well. Still developing consistent action on the offering. Excellent student.
