Thomas Fanning II is a 2025 3B/RHP with a 6-4 165 lb. frame from Smithtown, NY. Works from a long and lanky, high-waisted frame. Primary third baseman, worked through the ball at a deliberate pace, decent glove actions, delivered accurate throws, recorded arm strength up to 73 mph across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher, full wind-up delivery, uses a lower leg lift with the hands breaking at the chest, works into a medium stride down the slope, pushy arm action, filled up the zone with the fastball, showed occasional cut to it and topped at 67 mph. Landed a looping breaking ball with gradual vertical depth for strikes, projects for more velocity as he continues to add strength. Right-handed hitter, starts in a wider base with tight hands, leg lift trigger, hands-driven swing with a downhill bat path, produced line drives to the middle of the field when timed-up, recorded an exit velocity of 70 mph. Ran a 7.84 sixty-yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
