2022 Mid-Atlantic Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Peter DeMaio is a 2024 LHP/1B with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Broomall, PA who attends Monsignor Bonner. From a young projectable build, DeMaio used a low 3/4 slot on the bump with a clean deceptive delivery that worked downhill well. The lefty flashed clear running movement on the fastball with a solid sweeping breaker also present in the arsenal. At 1B, DeMaio displayed sound footwork with soft hands to make plays asked of him. Expect velocity to continually increase as he develops. On the offensive end, DeMaio started from an even base with compact hands and good lower half rotation. He consistently used the pull side of the field to his advantage with some pop present. Ran a 7.71 sixty yard dash. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
