Montgomery Gantz is a 2025 C/OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Barrington, RI who attends La Salle Academy. Medium athletic build. 7.37 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, moves well and has good lower half body life, long arm action with a deep takeaway, gets on top of the ball well for some on line carry, still developing consistency in his hand and glove work. Right handed hitter, hits from a crouched stance with a rock back load, low hands to start his swing, tends to stay on his back side, through contact, uphill swing plane with occasional lift, bat speed will continue to improve as he gets stronger. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
