Jensyn Nelson is a 2024 OF/RHP/2B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Parker, CO who attends Chaparral. Medium frame with some present strength and athleticism to the build. Ran a 7.05 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, quick first step and works to the ball well, presents glove early and fields it out front, slows momentum slightly but clean receiver and moves into release well with solid arm strength clocked up to 80 mph on throws. Also pitches, quick delivery and hides the ball well, high release and gets some cut on the fastball into the upper-70s, showed feel for a vertical breaking ball with good depth and missed bats with it. Righthanded hitter, very open start and gets wide in the lower half, has some quickness to the stroke and shows comfort working to both gaps, simple process as a whole with looseness and barrel skills that project. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
