Maximus Troy is a 2023 1B/C/3B/OF with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Montclair, NJ who attends Montclair. Troy worked exclusively from his primary 1B spot, showcasing sound footwork and a clean glove to make the plays asked of him. The turns were quick for Troy and he should see arm strength increase in the future. Offensively, the physical righty started from a slightly open stance with high hands that produced consistent contact to all parts of the field. Troy generated solid rotation and weight shift from the lower half and swung with intent to create lift and backspin on the baseball, posting an exit velocity of 80 mph. Ran a 8.14 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
