Cade Defendis is a 2026 C/MIF with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Westfield, IN who attends Westfield. Medium young build with lots of room and time to get stronger. 8.29 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has good fundamentals for his age, especially in his transfer and release, stays directional well and makes accurate throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with an inside hand path, works middle away, still developing the strength to drive the barrel through the ball, line drive swing plane. Will keep improving in all areas as he gets stronger. Good student.
