KC Fall Softball Scouting Combine Afternoon Session
Jayden Hanna is a 5'7, class of 2024 OF from Kansas City, KS who attends Turner HS. Jayden is a very talented, up and coming player, who shows plus ability in all areas of her already impressive career. She ran a 3.34 20-yard dash with a 1.10 5-yard split. A primary outfielder, Jayden's quick twitch and athleticism are readily apparent. She is quick and certain to position and reads the ball off the bat well. She plays through the fielding action with gathering momentum. Her glove is sure. She makes a routine transition and her powerful 56-mph throws show both carry and accuracy. Excellent defensive showing! At the plate, this RHH has a wider and more linear base at the ready. She incorporates a toe tap trigger to load and stays behind the ball before firing her hands with force. She has an all-fields mentality and can impact the ball. She has some serious intent with her swing and has emerging power that will only get better. She has certain game-ready offensive operation! Impressive! Jayden is a skilled, certain college prospect. With a few years left in her HS and travel ball careers, she will absolutely have the opportunity to play at the next level if she pays attention to the smaller details and incorporates a solid weight room regimen to add strength. Her game plays! And it should play at the college level when her time comes! Bright future! High ceiling!
