Daniel Suarez is a 2023 LHP/ with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Manhattan Beach, CA who attends Mira Costa. Features a tall, high waisted frame with plenty of room to add to lanky limbs. Ran a 7.96 60-yard. Primary left-handed pitcher. Utilize=es a tall and fall delivery with moderate effort throughout. Short arm action remains clean throughout the arm swing. A slight crossfire creates some deception. The fastball topped at 80 mph with fair command. Paired it with a mid-60’s curveball that feature sharp, above-average break that can be used in any count. A projectable arm with solid foundation in place. Also worked out as an outfielder. Charged the ball fairly well with the ability to catch it cleanly. Working to maintain fluidity throughout fielding action would help body transition into throws. Used an upright stance with hands shoulder high. Flashed average bat speed with the ability to stay through the ball. Made solid contact often. Adding strength to frame would help drive the ball with more authority. Good student, as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
