Alex Govoni is a 2028 IF/RHP/OF with a 5-6 140 lb. frame from Wilmette, IL who attends Loyola Academy. Recorded a 7.89 sixty yard dash at the event. Taller, slender frame for age with plenty of room for physical development. Primary right-handed pitcher. Full windup on the mound. Full arm action with length on the backside. Over the top arm slot with some extension out front. Somewhat stiff as the body progresses through the motion. Filled up the zone with a low 70's fastball. Quality upside here. Secondary infielder. Two handed fielder in front of his body. Mutliple glove taps before he fields and throws. Shorter arm action over the top with good control and balance of the body. 73 mph infield velo. Secondary outfielder. Looks natural. Fluid routes with solid arm strength and carry through target. Right-handed hitter. Wider base with and uphill bat path. Rotational approach with some hand speed. Solid fundamentals to build upon.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
