Justin Mercado is a 2025 OF/MIF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Miramar, FL who attends Somerset Academy. Slender athletic build with room to get stronger. Recorded a 6.86 second 60-yard dash time. Primary outfielder on defense, charges the ball aggressively with longer strides, has good footwork and builds momentum through release with good arm strength and carry on his throws at 83 mph. Left-handed hitter, hits from a slightly open spread stance, has quick hands with present bat speed, line drive contact to all fields, abbreviated finish; will continue to implement extension out front. Very good student. Named to the Miami Prospect TP List.
