Angel Castro is a 2025 C/1B, 3B with a 5-9 210 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends De La Salle Institute. Recorded a 7.80 sixty yard dash time. Compact frame with a sturdy build. Primary catcher, starts with the right knee down and a side set up. On line footwork and works direct through the throws. Accurate in the air to the base. Right-handed hitter with medium base and slightly closed feet, utilizes a stride. Gets weight back with some pop off the bat. Good control of the barrel with hand speed through the zone. Had a lot of solid line drive contact during the round. Uses all fields and gets lift. Solid catcher with strength and feel for the barrel. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
