2022 Northeast Indoor Showcase (Sunday)
Michael Gallaway is a 2023 C/3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Bernardsville, NJ who attends Pope John XXIII. Gallaway works from a medium build with projection left and additional room to fill out. From his primary spot behind the dish, he flashed a clean transfer and quick release that consistently put balls around the bag. Gallaway is mechanically sound with room for velocity development. He worked through the ball well from his secondary IF position with the ability to change slots and make plays on the run. Offensively, the righty generated solid contact to all parts of the field with a level bat path through the zone. Juice is evident in the barrel, posting an exit velocity of 84 mph. Ran a 5.43 forty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
