LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2021 13U Summer Northeast Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Mj Ellazar is a 2026 C/1B, 3B with a 5-5 145 lb. frame from Hilo, HI who attends Waiakea. Recorded a 8.86 second sixty-yard dash time. Smaller, compact frame with some present lower half strength and plenty of time to physically mature. Primary catcher that receives from a low, slightly side-saddled stance with step-and-replace footwork out of the crouch. Displayed fairly quick mid-line transfers into a short, constricted arm action. Recorded developing arm strength up to 58 mph from behind the plate during drills. Left-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and hanging leg lift trigger. Lofted stroke with some feel for the barrel and occasional pullside impact to the pullside. Timing based swing with projectable components and upside as he add strength. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and refinement to his skills. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
